Fall is upon us, and with that comes the transition to moody, rich, autumnal nail colors. The best way to get yourself into the Fall mood is to get a fresh manicure. My routine consists of a short, Russian manicure, done every month. #verydemure #verymindful
These are some of the top trending nail designs that I will be getting this fall:
1. Cherry Red
This deep red comes around every year, and for good reason. It’s both elegant and chic, and looks good on both short and long nails.
2. Chocolate Brown
Just like how our hair go from blonde highlights to brunette for the summer to fall transition, our nails must do the same! My favorite brown tone right now is a deep dark chocolate brown.
3. Tortoise Shell
Similar to the browns, you can go for a tortoise shell design. It’s a classic design that has been done many times; I love the modern renditions of it in the french nail design and as one of the nails amongst other colorways and designs.
4. Jelly Textured
Jelly nails are super versatile and fun! Jelly nails are known for their unique stained glass look that is achieved by mixing the gel color base with a top coat. I used to only be able to get this style done in Asia, but it has been making its way into the states! I love the glaze jelly color with pearls on top and this on-trend red jelly color.
4. Coconut Milk
Nude, natural, milky nails. I like to call these “Coconut Nails” because depending on how little you put on, the more opaque it is – just like coconut milk! This color is always in no matter what time of the year it is. But, during the fall, I lean towards a more opaque, tan/nude color to match the neutral tans we wear during this time of year.
5. Matcha Chrome
I have been seeing different tones of green nails everywhere! Adding a layer of chrome glaze on top makes it look extra special.
Thanks for reading and I hope that you feel inspired to try some of these nail designs out!
